Metric Marketing is looking for a strategic, resourceful, and detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills to join our team as a Paid Media Specialist. As a Paid Media Specialist, you will be working with the Marketing Director to develop, communicate, and execute paid advertising strategies that will generate brand awareness, drive high-intent traffic, and engage qualified leads for Metric Marketing and its clients.
This position requires collaboration with the Marketing Director, Project Manager, Graphic Designer & content team in order to ensure digital marketing efforts are in alignment with the organizations’ goals and objectives. Communication is key, as well as the understanding of how different aspects of our full-service agency tie into and support one another.

Paid Media Specialist Job Summary
Review and analyze client ad accounts (Google Search, Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) for areas that can be improved and optimized
Conduct keyword and competitor research to inform paid search strategies
Conduct research to ensure that ad audiences aligns with target personas
Effectively communicate strategies to get buy-in from key stakeholders
Tackle multiple client projects at the same time
Set realistic expectations with clients and clearly report on the progress of paid media efforts

Prior experience in paid advertising (agency experience preferred)
Proven track record of delivering results for different campaign objectives
Strong familiarity with Google Search, Display, Shopping, & Video
Familiarity with TikTok, Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, & Twitter ads
Familiarity with Google Analytics
Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems
Willingness to explore new advertising avenues for clients
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to dig into metrics and analytics
Microsoft Excel: Constructing pivot tables, using advanced formulas
This is a part-time, contract position with the potential to grow into a full-time role
Compensation is hourly and will be based on experience
Being readily available during office hours via email, Slack, and Teamwork is preferred
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in advertising, marketing, or related field
4+ years of digital advertising experience
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong familiarity with agency and online advertising tools
Familiarity with HubSpot is a plus
Programmatic advertising/Demand-Side Platform (DSP) experience is a plus
Remote work is okay, but we prefer candidates who can come into our Ann Arbor office in person
