Kristy is a writer and college instructor in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her background is in media and journalism; she earned a bachelor’s in mass media communication and convergence journalism from Oral Roberts University, and a master’s in administrative leadership from the University of Oklahoma. She worked in community journalism, reporting on government and education, and received an AP award for feature writing. She also serves on the board for the Cherokee Phoenix. Kristy brings her understanding of storytelling, research, and teaching to create engaging content that is helpful to the reader. When she isn’t writing, Kristy loves to travel, read, experiment with new bread recipes, and go on dog jogs with her pup, Jake.
