Micaela is a research scientist and technical writer based in Dearborn, Michigan. She brings a decade of experience in the biotechnology field including product development, synthetic biology, regulatory affairs, and grant writing. She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biomedical engineering from Boston University and her Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from Wayne State University with a focus on infectious disease diagnostics and optical spectroscopy.
