Liam brings over a decade of design experience to Metric, with a passion for crafting visuals that truly resonate. From brand identities and websites to merchandise and packaging, his work spans a wide range of disciplines, always with a sharp eye on typography—his favorite design tool and creative focus.
Most of Liam’s childhood was spent around arts and crafts. He honed his skills at Grand Valley State University, earning a degree in graphic design and gaining real-world experience through internships, freelance work, and roles at three established companies before joining Metric. He’s also making a name in the world of type—featured in “36 Days of Type,” published in multiple typography books, and recognized with several Addy Awards.
Outside of work, Liam enjoys life with his fiancée and their dog and two cats. You’ll often find him on a nature walk, tossing bags in the backyard, working out, or cooking up meals that meet his many food sensitivities—a challenge that’s turned him into a dedicated home chef.
