Science Tech Writer (Remote)

Metric Marketing is looking for a detail-oriented tech writer with a background in the biological sciences. This is a contract position, and this role will be responsible for writing marketing copy for companies in the biotech and life sciences spaces. This role will be responsible for completing assignments according to prompts on time and according to schedule. 

You will report to the Content Manager, who will rely on you to write and format according to instructions for each assignment. The role is a contracting position only.

Job Summary

This role is responsible for writing various types of copy including SEO-friendly website pages, blogs, press releases, marketing materials, and social media posts within the biotech industry.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of the biological sciences; Masters or PhD preferred in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, etc.
• Expert in researching, interpreting, writing, and editing scientific information
• Strong writing and formatting skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with other writers and editors
• Must be based in the U.S.
• Ability to manage 4-15 pieces of content/month
